Coram SCARF - leading RSHE and citizenship education

RSE Parent Consultation and policy review (2025)

In order to meet DfE statutory requirements (2025) for Relationships and Health Education, all schools must:

  • Consult parents in developing and reviewing their RSE policy
  • Ensure that parents know what will be taught and when
  • Provide examples of the resources that they plan to use, for parents to view.

Webinar overview

In this 60-minute recorded webinar, our Head of Education and RSE specialist, Lisa Handy, will help you to:

  • Consider the changes to your RSHE curriculum from September 2026
  • Identify what you'll need to share with parents to provide transparency and build trust
  • Consider how to share curriculum materials and consult your parent body
  • Explain how you plan to answer children's questions that go beyond the planned curriculum
  • Update your RSE policy in consultation with parents
  • For SCARF schools, help you to take ownership of your RSE programme and additional support materials within SCARF that are part of your subscription.
